The owners are the people who afraid of living on a high level, so the main idea here was to create an atmosphere that wouldn’t remind them the apartment is located on the 9th floor.
Wood and stone architectural materials we have chosen here speak to us with grounded language. Smooth and elegance texture conclude to the context of the city.
Delicate, minimalist, blue facade combined with honey ash veneer – a contradiction as two parts of one kitchen. Behind the visual context hidden two functions. Sky blue – water and cold. There is a refrigerator, dishwasher, stone sink with a high, convenient faucet. As a symbol of warmth and hearth – the wooden part – the place where people share the joy of having breakfast.
Traditional elements speak with us in understandable forms, creating a new but recognizable space.
A spacious corridor, as a connection between all rooms with smooth plaster walls, and a contrasting grey oak planks on one of them, which visually expands the space and functionally protects the most vulnerable surface.
Contrast and dynamics of the bathroom, which opens to us gradually from the entrance and unfolds wholly inside the space. We worked here with a contrast, filled walls with the warmth of wood, emphasized the purity of the snow-white terrazzo, which communicates with the wide sink in his quiet language. Invigorates, inspires, and allows you to disconnect from the outside world.
